The Data Integration Lead is a strong technical resource working as a part of the Business Intelligence (BI) Team and with Business Analyst colleagues. Your primary responsibility will be to develop data solutions to enable Business Intelligence Products for multiple business lines across J.D Irving, Limited. This work will require building expertise in the sourcing, management, and modeling of both structured and unstructured data in cloud and on-prem environments.
Your Focus:
- Participate in entire project lifecycle from evaluation, design, ETL and development of end user solutions
- Resolve development and support issues of moderate/high complexity or risk
- Work independently or as part of a team with business users, analysts and data warehouse architects towards the design and development of solutions
- Cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with BI stakeholders.
You Have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A bias to action, complemented with extensive curiosity
- Strong overall experience in the management and development of Enterprise Data Warehouses
- Experience implementing enterprise-scale reporting systems using Cognos suite of BI tools.
- Solid understanding and experience with data manager and framework and transformer cubes
- Ability to review functional requirements and design/document solid solutions.
- Strong database understanding, MS SQL query optimization skills and ability to collaborate effectively in agile or waterfall environments

- Experience in cloud-based data development (Azure)
- Expertise and experience in Cognos Tools; Framework, Report Studio - Dashboards, Powerplay, Adaptive Application Framework, Transformer tool, Data Modeling
- Cognos BI Certification
