Call Center Agent

The position offered:

Its Canadian division, Transervice Lease Co, operating in over 42 locations primarily in Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland, is seeking for a (1) Call Centre Agent, who has knowledge and experience in mechanic, to join the team. This position is permanent, full-time and remotely.

Work experience:

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry (mechanic, service advisor, etc.);
• Diploma in automobile mechanics or as a technical advisor;
• Relevant training related to motorized equipment including diesel, hydraulic, electrical systems and injection systems;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in French and English required.
• Good typing ability, a minimum of 30wpm, is required;
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office Suite.

In this role you will:

• Establish repairs quote with the information provided by the external suppliers. Determine and authorize the charges for the work rendered;
• Analyze the repairs and maintenance that needs to be performed on the vehicles and equipment;
• Follow-up on ongoing repairs, manages repair time and vehicles downtime; Supervise the work performed by external and internal resources;
• Assist the vehicle technicians with any technical problems (suppliers, parts, procedure, etc.);
• Plan and schedule vehicle and equipment inspections, sends reminder on any past due inspections ;
• Create and complete the maintenance and repair history within the management system (Work order);
• Analyze the repairs while taking into account the different customer contracts in force.
