Job Title: Administrative Assistant
No Small Feast is a mid sized catering company that is growing quickly. We specialize in events from small (private in home dinners for 15) to large galas (up to 300 guests). We're looking for a new team member who is excited to grow with us.
No two days are the same, you may find yourself creating food labels one day, printing sheets for the kitchen another, or putting together menu on InDesign. We need someone who can think on their feet and is passionate about growing the company and their career.
Hours: 20 - 35 Hours Per Week
Key Responsibilities:
· Answer the phone and direct calls
· Work directly with some clients to confirm their food orders, including menu consultation
· Creating food labels and tent cards from existing menus on InDesign
· Scanning and filing invoices
· Receiving and recording payments into QuickBooks
· Research & Development: product pricing, new contacts and local trade events
· Purchasing Front of House supplies (ex. LCBO, Decor from a Flower Shop)
· Inventory of packaging, platters and other food related wares
· Data Entry of new menu items into Total Party Planner
Qualifications:
· Experience with Catering & Event planning
· Ability to problem solve creatively
· Knowledge and passion for food
· Ability to build and nurture relationships with team members
· Competency with common office software (Excel, Word, Google Workspace)
· Competency with Adobe software is a plus (Specifically InDesign)
· Experience with Event Management Software (Total Party Planner)
