JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a busy chiropractic office in Tecumseh looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant. This position requires a person who is warm, welcoming and professional. They must have a strong desire to be a part of a team, have excellent communication skills, work well under pressure and work well independently.
This position requires sitting at a desk as well as moving about the office depending on what is required to assist the team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet patients promptly
- Answer multi-line telephone to schedule appointments, reschedule appointments, confirm appointments, and answer general questions about our office
- Promote and support a team environment
- Work directly with patient to coordinate recommended patient care plans
- Bill and reconcile third party insurance
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
- Proven history of customer service/customer care
- Able to show examples of time management, organization and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work on a team
- Must be available for all possible shifts including Saturday morning
- Minimum of two years work experience in chiropractic or medical office setting
WORK HOURS
- Our office hours are as follows; Monday –Thursday 8-6, Friday 8-4 and Saturday 9-12.
- Office staff is scheduled 30 minutes before office opens and 30 minutes after office closes.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$24.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 2 years (required)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
