Chiropractor

MyoHealth Rehab and Wellness Centre in Scarborough, ON is actively seeking a full time Chiropractor to join our team of health care providers.

MyoHealth is a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation facility with two locations in the GTA (Etobicoke and Scarborough). The clinic treats patients with injuries sustained primarily from motor vehicle accidents with a specialization in catastrophic cases- including brain injuries, amputations and spinal cord injuries.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide direct assessment and consultation of a patient's physical abilities and needs

- Developing a treatment plan according to the patient's individualized needs

- Prepare medical reports and assessments

- Develop great rapport with the patient and be actively involved in all elements of their recovery process

- Implementing programs including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, and education

- Knowledge of and experience with modalities – IFC, TENS, ultrasound, laser, Theragun

- Experience and/or certification with custom orthotics, custom bracing, and compression socks/hosiery

- Ability to assist with client acquisition and retention as needed

Qualifications:

- College of Chiropractors of Ontario License (required)

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario

- Experience with insurance procedures (WSIB, EHC, MVA) would be a strong asset

- Strong leadership skills

- An interest in helping people with physical disabilities and injuries

- Experience in multidisciplinary work environments
