Who we need
The Client Service Representative will be responsible for servicing an in-force block of business as well as participating in the acquisition of new business. Under the guidance of Client Experience Managers, the Client Service Representative will be required to communicate primarily with external plan administrators and internal stakeholders.

What you will do
- Coordinate and support the association and affinity administrative functions, including direct correspondence with internal and external stakeholders;
- Process and monitor eligibility, enrolment, and client inquiries according to quality and turnaround time standards;
- Actively seek to find solutions to client and intermediary issues such as member eligibility, claim inquiries, and plan financials;
- Gather, manipulate, and present critical data such as premiums, claims, and demographic files to assist other business units with the guidance of Program Managers;
- Correspond with other areas outside Client Experience & Service Delivery – Claims, Medical Underwriting, Administration, Marketing – as required to ensure satisfactory Client Service;
- Prepare, review, and assist Client Service teams in presentation of client materials, revisions for plan design changes, and implementation of new plan design changes;
- Build strong working relationships with other business and operational areas of the company;
- Coordinate with internal and external third parties to communicate member service resolutions.
What you will bring
The knowledge. Basic understanding or insurance financials, distribution systems, and business management. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook. Strong understanding of insurance – group and individual – benefits and products.
The skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to build strong working relationships. Strong project management skills.
The drive. High sense of accountability and autonomy. Comfortable in technology systems, ability to adapt and learn quickly, and also comfortable interacting on client calls including clear and concise documentation of notes and action items.
