The Court Services Branch of the Attorney Generalprovides the citizens of British Columbia with effective, timely, safe and impartial access to justice to ensure protection and access to court administration with integrity and compassion, while respectfully working together as an engaged team towards the common goal of service excellence.
BC Sheriff Service members staff courthouse common areas, courtrooms and grounds, and are responsible for ensuring everyone's safety, including members of the public, witnesses, victims, the judiciary, legal counsel and accused>
The HR Recruitment Coordinator manages the entire end-to-end hiring and recruitment process. This position also provides high level HR support to the Manager, Recruitment & Retention in areas such as Recruitment and Selection, Workforce Analysis, Employee Engagement and Retention.
Job Requirements:
  • Secondary School graduation or equivalent.
  • Certificate in Human Resources Management, related course work or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience working in Human Resources andbeing involved with recruitment and selection or any HR function.
  • Minimum one (1)year experience working with an Applicant Tracking System or Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Experience researching, analyzing and monitoring HR information.

Preference may be given to applicants with a combination of the following:
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) certification.
  • Experience in recruitment and selection in the BC Public Service (i.e., interpreting and applying policy and/or legislation such as hiring policy, collective agreements, etc.).
  • Experience managing complex client interactions and challenging conversations.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 3 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
