The HR Coordinator is often the first point of contact for all human resources inquiries, and assists with tasks throughout all areas of the HR department. In addition to recruiting and onboarding new employees, this role will collaborate on several employee engagement activities at Naturally Pacific Resort.
How you will support the business needs:
- Advise managers on interpretation of HR policies, programs, and procedures
- Participate in the full cycle recruitment process
- Support employees in accessing HR-related programs
- Network with community agencies to increase the company’s employer profile
- Support TFW relocation and settlement efforts
- Champion the intranet platform and liaise with managers to promote continuous improvements
A few things we are looking for in a new team member:
- Post-secondary diploma in Human Resource Management
- Minimum one year's experience as an HR Coordinator
- Background in the tourism and hospitality sector preferred
- Ability to interpret and apply provincial employment legislation and regulatory requirements
- Advanced MS Office skills
