HBM+ is a business unit within GSC and is more than a pharmacy benefits manager, it is a health benefits manager. With offices in Quebec and Ontario, HBM+ provides customized white-label solutions that support drug, dental and extended health benefits for group benefits carriers, third-party payors, and government organizations across Canada.

HBM+ is built on a foundation of proven technology, seamless branding, innovative claim management and administration capabilities, collaborative provider management, and solid industry expertise. They recognize that each client is unique and requires a business solution tailored to their needs.

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL


The Project Manager, Implementation Services, is an important role that develops and executes project plans designed to onboard new clients/plan sponsors primarily for the Group Line of Business. The Project Manager may also be required to lead or contribute to other business or strategic projects as required and where project management skills are an asset. This position reports to the Manager, Implementation Services.


  • Develops and executes implementation project plans to meet the specific requirements of each sale and does so in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manages overall project governance including stakeholder communication, meeting cadence, meeting facilitation, project documentation, status reporting and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinates internal and external resource requirements and monitors deliverables. Adjusts plans and communication accordingly to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensures implementation project documents are complete, current and managed in accordance with established procedures.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously and acts as back up to other Project Managers
  • Delivers projects on time and monitors client feedback.
  • Builds and fosters cooperative and productive relationships with team members, internal/external stakeholders, and customer contacts while representing the interests of Green Shield. Interacts with the Management Team to ensure results are achieved.
  • Participates in special projects such as responding to RFPs for new business opportunities and other sales related initiatives (e.g., business case creation).
  • Participates in finalist presentations to secure new business when required.
  • Guides stakeholders and manages expectations with respect to Standard Service Delivery Guidelines.
  • Participates in continuous improvement by reviewing client feedback, outcomes and best practices to evolve processes and services.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • PMP Certification or working on it
  • Bilingual (English/French) is preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Industry knowledge (insurance, group benefits and/or related industry)
  • Ability to influence and lead others to achieve project deliverables
  • Ability to organize and prioritize accountabilities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong customer focus while balancing business expectations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management tools, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to travel when required
  • Able to accommodate flexible schedule when required
