About the role

We’re looking for a Customer Accounts Agent to join our growing team on a 10-month term contract or secondment!

As a passionate Customer Accounts Agent, you will be supporting our National Accounts team in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients and brokers. With experienced customer service skills, you will be responding to phone and email inquiries in a call center environment, while processing miscellaneous insurance policy account receivable related tasks. Including strong analytical skills, detail oriented and you enjoy working in a collaborative service-based environment. Join a team dedicated to innovation and service excellence. • Providing insightful and helpful advice to customers and brokers on billing-related questions.
• Understanding our customer needs and offering appropriate guidance about their payment plans.
• Enhancing the customer experience by promoting self-service tools and guiding clients through practical use of our digital billing tools.
• Processing billing transactions and payments in accordance with company policy.
• Ensuring accuracy and high standard of work for all accounts receivable tasks.

Please note this position requires candidates to be available to work full-time, 5 days per week during our hours of operation as follows:
7:30 AM to 6:00 PM – Monday to Friday (based on availability)
Occasional Statutory Holidays or Saturdays (based on business needs)

What you bring to the table:

• Strong communication skills – making things simple for our clients and brokers.
• Technology savviness - you are proficient with computer applications, and excellent at data entry.
• Compelling customer service attitude – to maintain favourable business relationships.
• You are detailed oriented and able to organize and prioritize workload.
• You can work autonomously.
• Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
• Customer service experience is an asset.
• Bilingual (French and English) a strong asset - Requires answering calls and providing service to French and English-speaking clientele on a regular basis.
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
