SalaryAbilities Community Services has positions open for skilled staff supporting one adult with developmental disabilities/neurodiversity, in a union environment.

This position is Monday to Friday (Stats and Holidays excluded), 32.5 hour a week.

Day program staff must be able to handle stressful situations when working in this environment as they will be faced with escalations throughout the day. But again, No Challenge is Too Great.
Training:
We provide CPI training on site to ensure our staff are the skills they need to handle the physical challenges they will face throughout their workday. CPI training includes proactively supporting participants to avoid an escalation, interventions to take when dealing with physical and verbal escalations, and important self care techniques to avoid burnout.
