Dental Administrator Front Desk

We are looking for a new Front Desk team member to join our motivated dental care facility in Haileybury, Ontario.

We are hiring in a full-time position Monday through Thursday with half days on Fridays and one full Friday per month. Some evening hours up to 8 pm may be required on Tuesdays and Wednesday.

Prior medical or dental experience is an asset but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Previous experience in an administrative role preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome client in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, emails and texts from clients
- Coordinate appointments and manage the dental scheduling system
- Add and manage patient profiles in the dental scheduling system
- Manage client flow through the office
- Manage patient insurance information and deal with insurance companies when required
- Take patient payments
- Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as sending referrals, emails, data entry, and managing electronic dental records in a secure manner
- Provide general information about the facility, services, and amenities to clients
- Ability to learn and comprehend basic dental terminology
- Proficient in using email, computers, printers, and fax machines
- Familiarity with electronic dental records systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client information
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and manage information in a secure manner

Salary: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
