Dental Administrator

Our clinic is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Dental Administrator to join our team for a 1 year maternity leave. We have an amazing dental team and wonderful patient population.

Responsibilities:

· Establish and maintain long-term patient relationships in a caring environment

· Communicate effectively with all clinical team members

· Adhere to provincial regulations, practice standards and policies relevant to the dental profession

· Demonstrate a high degree of personal integrity when interacting with patients and employees

· Greet and assist patients accordingly

· Respond to patient phone calls and address patient inquiries

· Confirm patient appointments via phone and e-mail

· Move patients through their scheduled appointments

· Conducting patient recall related tasks

· Managing patient records and charts

· Process incoming mail, insurance correspondence and insurance estimates

· Computer data entry

· Process referral letters as necessary

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum 1 year of experience working in a dental practice

· Experience using ABELDent practice management software for patient scheduling, recall and records management

· Strong organizational skills

· Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills

· Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English
