Dietary And Environmental Manager

As a Dietary and Environmental Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the food service and Environmental services operations in a healthcare facility. Your main duties will include:

- Managing the daily operations of the dietary, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance departments

- Planning and coordinating menus in accordance with dietary guidelines and residents' needs

- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation

- Supervising and training staff on proper food preparation techniques and portion control

- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to meet the nutritional needs of patients or residents

- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering food supplies as needed

- Managing budgets and controlling costs

- Providing excellent customer service to patients, residents, and their families

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices

- Experience working in a hospital, nursing home, or similar healthcare setting

- Ability to sanitize kitchen equipment and maintain a clean work environment

- Excellent customer service skills to interact with patients, residents, and their families

- Proficiency in meal preparation and food presentation techniques

- Time management skills to ensure timely meal service

- Knowledge of nutrition requirements for different patient populations

- Familiarity with the food industry trends and best practices

Salary: $25.50-$33.50 per hour
