Disability Service Practitioner

Signature Support Services provides support to people with developmental disabilities in their Residential and Day Programs. We currently have the following position open in one of our Day Program settings:

Community Disability Service Practitioner

The CDSP is responsible for providing support, and training to adults with developmental disabilities in their Day Program and to help them work toward their goals and desired outcomes. This includes their leisure, volunteer, and paid employment in a variety of community settings. The successful candidate will also be required to assist with personal care, life skill training, as well as a variety of social activities.

Staff will make every effort to respect and promote individual rights and responsibilities while ensuring quality service delivery.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years experience in the Rehab field
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent physical and emotional health
• Must be a team player and be able to work independently when required
• Excellent time management skills
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance

This position runs Monday-Friday and is based on a 37.5-hour work week. Work schedule will vary based on assigned work area.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.51-$25.21 per hour
