What’s On Your Plate:
- Supporting end-users within the office and remotely while ensuring suitable processes are followed and support is in place
- Advanced troubleshooting skills face to face & remotely, via a 24-hours service desk
- Ensuring the highest level of service is delivered, dedication and quality are maintained and our end-user support experience is valued
- The availability, security and scalability of our IT services platform
- Delivering our services roadmap
- Planning for the future
- Wit approach to solving difficult issues
- Ability to handle workload effectively including the teams where required
- Work well under pressure/ability to remain calm in difficult situations
- Make sure changes or updates are communicated to all team members
- Advanced level of communication with end users face to face or via collaboration tools
- Communicating updates with the team and /or business
- Ability to work well as a team and maintain a professional manner with peers
- Ability to communicate key takeaways from attended conferences to the team/management
- Ability to update tickets regularly and in line with service targets, with detailed responses
- Approach work with a positive attitude to instil into the rest of team
- Ability to take on tasks from manager and complete in a timely fashion, whilst communicating well
Recipe for Success:
- 1-2 years experience in an end-user support role
- Excellent customer service skills
- A foundation in end-user support tools
- Operating systems: Windows desktop (Windows 10 +), Mac OSX and Chrome OS
- Mobile Support: Android and iOS
- Applications: GSuite, Atlassian products (Jira), Slack
- User/Device management tools: Active Directory, Google Admin, SCCM, JAMF (desirable)
- Soft skills: Excellent written and spoken English, Good communication, Excellent organisational skills
- Self-sufficient and confident in undertaking work assignments with a moderate level of guidance and direction
