Adamson Systems Engineering is a vertically integrated, mixed-mode manufacturer with an extensive range of modern production technologies located in beautiful Port Perry, Ontario. Adamson manufactures high-end live performance audio equipment for concerts and on-stage performances worldwide.
The successful candidate will utilize our ERP system to drive manufacturing operations by scheduling and capacity planning of raw parts and sub-assemblies through to finished products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage system production schedules.
- Evaluate and monitor parts inventory quantities.
- Interact with suppliers/sub contractors as required.
- Continually evaluate MRP manufacturing and purchase part lead-times.
- Review, and provide advance notice of capacity constraints.
- Assist in the enhancement of ERP/MRP functionality.
- Ensure customer and production needs are aligned.
- Ensure ERP/MRP is synchronized with work centers and warehouse.
- Report to the sales & senior management teams
Minimum Requirements:
- College or University degree/diploma and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing
- Minimum of 5 years in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and scheduling (Optimizing manufacturing sequences) with ERP Software
- Experience with Software systems such as Open ERP (Odoo), SAP, MS Dynamics GP, NetSuite, Epicor, SAGE or any other ERP system
- Advanced MS Office experience
- Experience working in a Lean manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
