Plasman Windsor 3 Manufacturing, 635 Sprucewood Ave, Windsor ON, is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:

Scheduler - Pre-Production

The Scheduler is to coordinate production activities throughout the plant in order to maintain customer requirements at Plasman.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Receiving customer releases through EDI and/or fax.
• Liaison and customer contact for material related issues
• Analyzing these releases in order to create an effective production schedule.
• Communicating production schedules to Purchasing, Maintenance and Plant Supervisors.
• Determining and maintaining finished goods inventory levels.
• Communication daily releases to Shipping Personnel to ensure orders are prepared for shipment.
• With direction from Scheduling & Logistics Supervisor will expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Provides Shipping Coordinators with appropriate information in order to make timely and accurate shipments to the customer
• Responsible to prepare and administer 5-day assembly schedule

MINIMUM EDUCATION/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed some or all of a college level program.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least 3-5 years' experience in a related field and those with experience in Scheduling will be given preference.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to perform well in high pressure situations
