Production Scheduler

Responsibilities
· Review, modification and conversion of planned orders into production orders
· Creation of production reports
· Assist with scheduling of labour and materials
· Reviewing reports for capacity panning and identifying bottlenecks or areas of concern
· Monitor schedule to determine production progress and outputs
· Maintain data base accuracy for materials and routing
· Identify and reschedule late orders
· Identify and report any variances on material and labour
· Assess KPI’s and production data
· Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to ensure more efficient production operations
· Assist with year end inventory and regular cycle counts
Qualifications
· Post secondary education in business, materials or manufacturing
· 2-3 years of experience in production planning role in manufacturing environment
· Experience with inventory control, scheduling and planning
· Strong knowledge of ERP and data analysis
· Excellent communication and documentation skills
