KCI Management is looking for a passionate and hard working Program Specialist to add to our growing and vibrant team. We are seeking someone with a passion for events and excellent customer relationship management and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate events. Must be an energetic and enthusiastic professional who is up to the challenge and ready to work in a fast paced environment! This position requires a somewhat flexible schedule with occasional travel throughout the US.
The Program Specialist will be responsible for assisting the agency teams in all aspects of project management and serving as support staff for events as assigned as well as owning components on small to medium-scale programs. Programs assigned may include conferences, tradeshows, dinners, corporate galas and incentive programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES Day to Day tasks
- Support the success of assigned aspects of an event or project, meeting program objectives and client and manager expectations.
- Manage and follow KCI templates for components assigned.
- Responsible for effective and timely communication between internal team and vendors via phone and email.
- Working with vendors in securing needed materials on time, within budget and meeting requested specifications.
- Effectively interface and support workstream owners with proactive communication.
- Understand KCI best practices and overall agency operations.
- Seen as a team player in all situations
- Report to program lead(s) as assigned, on a regular basis with project progress, identified problems and solutions.
- Maintain clear communication with manager regarding special problems or exceptions to policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in team meetings as required and treating all proprietary information as confidential.
