Northern Community Events Group Ltd. is a not-for-profit that focuses on healthy communities with community engagement organizing events that promote active youth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- planning, booking and organizing community based events
- coordinating with different vendors, locations and municipalities for event planning
- handle inquiries via social media and phone for potential vendors, community partners and general inquiries
- source specific attractions and work with local groups
- work with promotional partners, including media
- work with municipalities ensuring permits and licenses are acquired as needed
Qualifications:
- Excellent English written and verbal skills
- Experience using social media for promotional purposes
- Personable and outgoing personality
- Some evenings and weekends as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $18.60 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
