Description
The North West Friendship Centre is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. The Executive Assistant is responsible for maintaining the financial records by accurately recording the day-to-day financial transactions of the organization. To assist the Executive Director with grants, proposals and funding opportunities. To provide Administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
Establish and efficient and effective filling system
Consult with the Executive Director on any programming and administration of activities within the Centre
Provide administrative support to all programs
Demonstrates competence in leadership, communication, professionalism, organizational and analytical skills and technical/professional skills and knowledge in performance of duties and responsibilities
Develop and maintenance of effective relationship with staff
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
Skill in preparation and presentation of reports to board
Planning (strategic and short time) organizing
Skills in exercising initiative, judgement, problem solving and decision- making
Skill in analysis, development of comprehensive reports and interpretation of data
