THE POSITION
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher within our Roll-Off Fleet. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the driver delivery schedule of commercial, residential, construction and industrial bins. This is a key position within our operations.
This is a full-time permanent position to be shared/supported between two (2) people Monday - Friday between 6:00 am - 5:00 pm and alternating Saturdays from 6:00 am - 12:00 pm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact with drivers, operations staff and customers
- Coordinate and dispatch bin deliveries with internal drivers
- Utilize transportation management systems to track and monitor driver movement
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and resolve any issues that may arise
- Enter data accurately into various systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Use two-way devices, email or telephone to effectively communication with drivers to ensure smooth operations
- Respond to customer service requests in an effective, professional and timely manner
- Manage time-sensitive administrative tasks and other tasks as assigned
- Monitor delivery progress and address any delays or disruptions proactively
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Prior Dispatching experience an asset
- Knowledge of TRUX software considered an asset
- Must be reliable with daily attendance and alternating Saturdays
- Able to work with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills/attention to detail to assess transportation needs and make informed decisions
- Proficient in data entry with high accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to take on other duties as required
