We are seeking a motivated, customer service professional to become our Front Desk Supervisor. We are looking for an individual who is seeking to build their career in hotel hospitality. Only resume's with past hotel experience will be considered.
Responsibilities:
· Greet guests, check them in and out and provide them with any information they need during their stay
· Confirm phone and online reservations
· Respond to guest requests, issues and emergencies
· Keep records of occupied rooms and guests
· Receive and record guest payments
· Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments
· Handel end-of-day bookkeeping, auditing and account reconciliation
· Prepare guest bills for next-day departures
· Train new staff
· Oversee Front Desk staff providing instruction and coaching
· Assist with guest issues and retention
· Respond to online guest reviews and feedback
· Troubleshoot computer, system and hardware issues
· Other tasks as assigned by Management
Qualifications:
· Hotel experience required
· Previous experience in customer service, Front Desk service, or other related fields
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Ability to build rapport with guests
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to learn computer functions and other on-the-job skills
· Computer proficient with experience with Excel and Word
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $17.55 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
