Reservation Management:
· Supervise the reservation system to facilitate accurate and efficient booking processes.
· Monitor reservation patterns and adjust availability to optimize occupancy and revenue during the operational season.
· Develop strategies to manage room inventory and pricing effectively based on seasonal demand and market conditions.
· Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional offers and packages tailored to seasonal trends.
· Conduct regular audits of reservation records and Front Desk procedures to identify opportunities for process improvement.
· Implement quality assurance measures to uphold service standards and enhance guest satisfaction.
· Monitor online reviews and guest feedback to address concerns promptly and continuously elevate the guest experience.
· Roll up your sleeves to prepare regular reports on revenue performance, booking trends, and forecast accuracy.
· Collaborate hands-on with cross-functional teams, providing direct insights and recommendations based on your analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Identify opportunities for improvement and personally implement changes to enhance revenue and reservation processes.
Front Desk Operations:
· Lead and support Front Desk staff, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management.
· Establish and enforce standard operating procedures for guest check-in, check-out, and other Front Desk duties.
· Address guest inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, utilizing a hands-on approach.
· Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area, ensuring a positive initial impression for guests.
· Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in reservation systems and Front Desk software.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
· Cultivate strong communication and collaboration among reservations, Front Desk, housekeeping, and other departments.
· Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely room preparation and maintenance standards are met.
Qualifications
· Experience with Online Travel Agents is a MUST
· Demonstrated experience in reservations management and Front Desk operations, ideally within a seasonal resort or similar environment.
· Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of effectively managing small teams.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive working relationships.
· Proficiency in reservation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Capacity to multitask, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
· Meticulous attention to detail and adept problem-solving capabilities.
· Flexibility to accommodate evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as necessary during the operational season.
