Front Of House Staff - Bakery (Riverside)

Blackbird Baking Co. is seeking Full Time Front of House employees to work at our retail location in Riverside; 635 Queen St E.

We are seeking bread enthusiasts to join our ever growing team. The job perks include:

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Is able to work weekends, and holidays both morning and/or evening
• Has weekend availability is mandatory (Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Has at least one year of previous customer service experience (food industry preferred)
• Is interested in the artisan bread baking and pastry process
• Has excellent time management skills and can multi-task
• Can work independently and as part of the team
• Has the ability to lift 20kgs

Job responsibilities include:

• Customer Service
• Accurately describing and selling the bread and pastry items we produce
• Cash handling, transactions, reconciliations, and deposits
• Maintaining the general cleanliness of the bakery
• Merchandising retail items

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $16.75-$17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
