Global Quality Assurance Manager

(QMS, Accessories and Tape)

The Global Quality Management Systems Manager (QMS, Accessories and Tape) is a key role within our Quality Organization. You will be responsible for leading, implementing, deploying and improving Dura-Line’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure it is standardized globally. You will also be our SME for Quality related Tape and Accessories manufacturing capabilities.

What can you expect in a Global Quality Manager (QMS, Accessories & Tape) role at Dura-Line?

  • You will be a change agent, and enabler of people that fosters a culture of high compliance to quality standards, creates, maintains, and implements the standardized quality policies for the company as well as the procedures to align with the standardization strategy. ​
  • You will execute risk assessments for Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management Systems (QEH&SMS) for all our manufacturing sites and functional support processes in accordance with ISO-9001/TL-9000, ISO-14001 & ISO-45001, ensuring closure of any identified gaps. You will coach and support efforts to improve the manufacturing plants and support functions QMS when opportunities to improve are identified.
  • You will provide technical and engineering support to the tape and accessories operations and suppliers ensuring consistent application of quality techniques and ensure compliance to quality KPI’s targets and resolution of customer complaints.
  • You will determine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on existing processes, review and analyze results, recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness. ​
  • You will ensure tape manufacturing and accessories distribution operational processes and subprocesses at the plants comply with ISO-9001/TL-9000 requirements, including inspection/testing methods, Calibration of M&TE, Control of Non-conforming Products, Operational Training, Supply Chain Development, FAI, Final Audits, Document Control, etc.) to ensure the quality of our products and customer satisfaction.

What does Dura-Line need from you?

  • Your ability to travel up to 35% of the time to support needs at our manufacturing sites.
  • Textile/tape Industry experienceis a must, injection molding a plus.   
  •       Your ability to work in a multi-site organization and provide support to various sites.
  •       Your expertise as a liaison between global cross functional groups and business units to ensure compliance and harmonization.
  •       Your ability to proactively look outside of our business and industry, to keep up to date on trends, changes, in the external environment.
  •      Your proven track record with at least 10 years of experience leading with a certified quality management system    (ISO-9001, TL-9000, etc.), including Previous audit experience. Formal training and previous experience as a Lead Internal Auditor is a plus.
