Responsibilities for Guest Service Agent
- Front Desk Operations: Check in / Check Out
- Customer Service: ensure guests needs are met with a positive attitude, provide information on the property and tourist area, handle guest issues or complaints.
- Communications: Answer all calls, emails, inquiries in a courteous, professional and efficient manner, relay messages and information to internal departments
- Administrative Tasks: maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and transactions, handle cash and process payments, prepare daily reports and complete all check lists accordingly.
- Collaboration: coordinate with other departments with anything pertaining to guests to ensure a smooth guest experience, work closely with housekeeping and maintenance
- Safety & Security: Follow security procedures to ensure the safety of the guests and their belongings, report any suspicious activities or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications for Front Desk Agent
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Additional hospitality education is a plus.
- Communication Skills: strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in other languages ie; Korean is beneficial.
- Customer Service Skills: ability to handle difficult situations, experience in this area prefered.
- Technical Skills: proficient in computer systems, and hotel management systems along with basic office software.
- Attention to Detail: accuracy and attention to detail in payments, guest information and other.
- Interpersonal Skills: Able to time manage, multitask while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Flexible: willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays without exception.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
