Marathon Underground is currently seeking a Health and Safety Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, the successful candidate will assist with:
- Participating in internal and external audits, document uploading, tracking and maintaining
- Data entry, tracking and managing training records.
- Monitoring electronic documentation from the field.
- Uploading Insurance and WSIB Clearance certificates to various online platforms
- Maintenance of our company profile on various online platforms (ISNetworld, Cognibox, Contractor Check etc..)
- Tracking recertification of some specialized safety equipment
- Monitoring and tracking of Subcontractor Prequalification’s
- Assisting with Site-Specific H&S Plans and Emergency Response Plans
- Onsite requirements as they arise such as inspections and participating in investigations.
- Miscellaneous day-to-day tasks within the H&S Department
Requirements:
- Close attention to detail is a MUST
- Strong computer skills, experience with AuditSoft is an asset,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe – able to edit and format professional documents, manage Outlook calendar, spreadsheets in Excel, etc.
- H&S experience in a construction setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- COR2020 or ISO45001 training is an asset but can be provided for an experienced H&S coordinator.
- Bilingualism (English & French) is preferable.
- Clean drivers abstract and valid G license are required.
- Head office is located in the Greely industrial park, not accessible via public transportation. Reliable personal transportation is required for this position.
