Pan Pacific Whistler is looking for an Hotel Accountant to support the Finance department at the hotels. Elevate your Hospitality career at Canada’s Best Ski Hotel!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Weekly Contribution Reporting for both properties
· Support the Accounting & Payroll Coordinator with the daily cash auditing when required
· Maintain and audit petty cash
· Accounts Payable – code, post and prepare payments for various vendors
· Correspond with vendors as required
· Month end account and bank reconciliations
· Supporting with monthly inventory counts and analysis of results
· Prepare and reconcile tax filing requirements for the hotels
· Prepare Strata invoices and correspond with Strata Management as required
· Accounting month end processes
· Other tasks as assigned which may include assisting others within the Finance department
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Must possess good communication and customer service skills
· Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong analytical skills
