Heavy Metal Equipment is seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven individual looking to build their career in Human Resources as a HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ASSISTANT to join our team in our FORT MCKAY, Alberta location.
This is an entry-level position, where we will provide training and support to the right candidate to grow their career along with us.
The Job:
The HR Assistant is an extremely important position within our organization who is initially responsible for:
- Maintaining HR information, by collecting, entering, and maintaining employee documentation
- Supporting and conducting components of the recruitment process
- Administrative and clerical duties that provide support to the HR team as requested and required
- Learning and participating in the new hire process and Human Resource functions as they relate to the overall employee experience
The candidate will typically work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. In addition to these hours, the candidate will also be expected to participate in an overtime rotation, working the occasional evening throughout the week and Saturday. The HR Assistant is expected to adjust their schedule accordingly to meet the demands and timelines of the position.
