Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8:00AM-4:30PM; Friday 8:00AM-2:00PM

Job Summary

The HR Business Partner is a strategic and operational role that is responsible for driving the implementation of Bend All’s Human Resources strategy while overseeing the end-to-end Human Resources service delivery for our Canadian Operation. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will support business leaders and employees through coaching, collaborating and partnering to provide proactive solutions to attract, engage and retain a high performing workforce.

Responsibilities

· As a day-to-day partner to the business, proactively lead the delivery, execution and continuous improvement of human resources strategies and services including Employee Relations, Payroll, Leave Management, Training and Development and Health and Safety

· Understand business priorities, context, issues and challenges to drive a culture of growth, high performance and positive employee relations

· Embrace best practice and challenge the status quo to champion new initiatives and act as a catalyst for change that drives results in business performance

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment managing multiple tasks and effectively handle competing priorities

· Coordinates ESA/Disability leaves providing information to team members as well as communicating to affected parties and sending relevant letters/forms

· Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough and objective fact finding investigations

· Provides support for preparation and processing of payroll and benefit enrolment

· Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the management of a Canadian workforce to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance

· Provide guidance and interpretation on the development and implementation of progressive HR policies and procedures

· Participates in the organization of company events as required

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

· University Degree with a Diploma in Human Resources Management

· CHRP or CHRL designation

· 3+ years demonstrated experience as a human resources professional, preferably in a manufacturing environment

· Advanced knowledge and detailed understanding of current legal framework in Ontario

· Proven experience with Payroll and Time & Attendance systems (specifically ADP and UKG)

· Ability to build effective relationships at all levels in order to demonstrate credibility and gain support to achieve results

· Self-directed and motivated leader who promotes best practice and leads by example

· Strong MS Office skills with strong Excel skills and the ability to interpret and present data

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
