Job description

Job Summary:

 

At Rapid Aid, the HR Manager/Director is pivotal in steering our human resources functions towards excellence in our fast-paced medical and emergency aid manufacturing and distribution environment. This role is designed for a visionary HR leader adept at recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation, and benefits, with a strong emphasis on business partnership and leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Spearhead HR strategies that are in harmony with Rapid Aid’s mission and business goals, promoting an employee-oriented, high-performance culture.
  • Lead talent management, succession planning, and workforce strategy to support our rapid growth and innovation in the emergency aid sector.

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Drive the recruitment process to secure top talent, crucial for our mission-critical manufacturing and distribution operations. Work closely with department heads to accurately forecast and plan for future staffing needs, ensuring agility in our workforce.

Training and Development:

  • Identify and implement training programs that align with our commitment to excellence and innovation in emergency aid solutions.
  • Enhance leadership and management skills across the organization, supporting our mission of rapid and effective aid delivery.

Performance Management:

  • Develop a comprehensive performance review system that aligns individual goals with our organizational mission of rapid response and high-quality aid delivery.
  • Administer effective performance improvement plans to maintain our standards of excellence and efficiency.

Employee Relations:

  • Navigate and resolve complex employee relations issues with a focus on maintaining a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
  • Conduct thorough investigations when needed, upholding our values of integrity and respect.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain top talent, reflective of the critical nature of our work in the emergency aid industry.
  • Monitor industry trends to ensure our offerings are competitive and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Legal Compliance:

  • Guarantee compliance with all relevant employment laws, staying ahead of changes that impact our sector.
  • Lead HR compliance training programs, reinforcing our commitment to legal and ethical standards in all we do.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Utilize HR metrics to provide insights into workforce efficiency, recruitment success, and training effectiveness, supporting strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and present reports to leadership, highlighting HR contributions to Rapid Aid’s mission.

Business Partnership:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the leadership team, offering insights and solutions from an HR perspective to meet business challenges.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization, promoting HR as a pivotal contributor to our mission’s success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare or emergency aid sectors.
  • Proven track record as an HR leader, with the ability to manage in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to developing a workplace that drives innovation in emergency aid delivery.
  • Solid understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and industry standards in the medical or emergency aid manufacturing and distribution sectors.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field, with HR certifications highly regarded.
  • Experience in a global or multinational corporation within the healthcare, medical devices, or emergency aid industries.
