Human Resources Director

Adecco is currently seeking a Human Resources Director to join our clients team for their Chatham, ON location. As a pivotal member of the leadership team, the successful candidate will foster a People First Culture, shape HR policies, and drive the company's success through effective management and strategic initiatives.

• Pay rate: $115k-$140k/year depending on experience plus 10% bonus.

• Develop and implement HR policies and practices.
• Serve as chief spokesperson in labour negotiations.
• Administer Safety and Health policies for compliance.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee development.
• Annual review and maintenance of position descriptions.
• Manage Collective Agreement administration.

• HR education or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of Health and Safety regulation experience.
• Extensive knowledge in Labour Relations.
• Experience in unionized industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
• Occasional travel to the US required.
