  • Work closely with IT project manager on plans, schedules, budget and deliverables related to Information Technology projects.

  • Assist with the development of project and/or technical documentation for various audiences.

  • Monitor day to day project activities and potential issues and assist in responding to them as they arise.

  • Assist with coordinating project meetings and related agendas and minutes.

  • Collaborate with the project team, provide updates to interested parties, in either verbal or written forms.

 
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, Business Administration, Math, or Engineering.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft tools including Teams, OneNote, One Drive, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Online will be considered an asset.

  • Knowledge of Copilot and Power BI will be considered an asset.

  • Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, communication (both written and verbal) skills at various levels of the organization, ability to prioritize tasks, analytical and mathematical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.

 
Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2024.
  • A security clearance will be conducted.
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Compensation: $27.16 per hour
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
