Terrace Lodge, a County of Elgin Long-Term Care Home, has an exciting opportunity for students enrolled in a Nursing Program! We are looking to hire students who have successfully completed their first year of a Nursing Program to work as Personal Support Workers over the Summer, and may be extended until the end of the Nursing Program (reviewed annually).
Terrace Lodge "the heart of caring and sharing" Terrace Lodge is a 100-bed long-term care home in the Township of Malahide. Situated in beautiful Elgin County, our home features private and semi-private accommodation with 24-hour nursing care. Outdoor areas to relax with family, as well as living and dining areas are available for resident enjoyment.
Responsibilities:
As a PSW Nursing Student, you will work alongside our Personal Support Workers to provide daily care to all of the residents in accordance with the established routine procedures.

- Must have successfully completed 1st year of a Nursing Program.
- Must have completed school placements in a Long-Term Care, hospital and/or community settings.
- Must provide proof you will be returning to full-time post-secondary school in Fall 2024.
- Experience in Geriatrics or equivalent.
- Good communication skills.
