Nursing Student (Summer PSW coverage)

Overview:
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Nursing Students to join our team. As a Nursing Student, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a healthcare setting. This position is ideal for individuals who are currently enrolled in a nursing program and looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in a practical setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist PSW's and healthcare professionals in providing resident care and assisting with ADL's
- Document patient information accurately and maintain patient records
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities
- Proficient in English
- Basic computer skills

Note: This position is intended for Nursing Students who are seeking practical experience while completing their education. Students must have completed their first year of a nursing program.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
