DATE: January 2024
ROLE TITLE: Jubilee House Team Lead
PLACEMENT: .5FTE
At Redwood, we create safe, affordable, hopeful housing where people thrive in community. We envision a hope-filled community where everyone has a place to call home. We value collective belonging, hope, innovative leadership, and solidarity. Our work is rooted in the understanding that housing is a human right and vital to health and wellbeing. We believe the opposite of homelessness is community.
Jubilee House is Redwood’s newest property. However, it has provided supportive housing to women and their children in Orillia since 2000 under Couchiching Jubilee House, which joined Redwood in February 2023. We are pleased to build on the good work and reputation of Couchiching Jubilee House as we establish a presence in Orillia to help meet the affordable housing needs in the community.
