We are seeking a skilled cook to cover our kitchen needs so our awesome main cook can take a day off every week. For this we require someone capable of doing a lot of breakfast and lunch orders mainly off a flat top grill without any assistance. In this role, you will be responsible for food preparation and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality (Food Handlers Certificate is a must) .
We are basically looking for at least one shift a week minimum with hours of approx 7am-4pm and are flexible on the day of choice
```Duties```
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations
- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience within the food service industry is required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
