Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure all ingredients are properly measured and prepared
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Monitor food inventory and notify the supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations regarding food handling and safety
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry as a line cook or prep cook is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
