Logistics Coordinator

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Logistics Coordinatoris responsible for assisting the Manager and Operations Supervisor with both our Home Delivery and Household Moving Departments. This role is primarily a Monday to Friday role with a future Saturday on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

Home Delivery; assisting the Operations Supervisor with;

· Load Receiving & Over Short & Damage (OS&D) reporting (using inbound scanning applications)

· Updating inventory cage reports for accounts (order cancellations, damages, other dispositions)

· Inventory Cycle Counts for all key accounts and associated inventory reconciliations/investigations

· Ensuring accuracy of warehouse inventory on a daily basis; this is accomplished by assisting in importing of order data, creation of orders manually (some accounts) and adding delivery dates & associated information for every order as required

· Assists warehouse team in the accurate processing of Home Delivery order Picking; accomplished thru pick accuracy reviews and assisting team as required

· Works closely with the Operations Manager(s) and Home Delivery Coordinators and, as required will communicate with HD clients as operational issues as they arise (delivery delays, cancellations and other disruptions).

This is a demanding role in which an aptitude for Delivery Software and support for continuous system automation coupled with a strong desire to deliver excellent customer service & high levels of accuracy are essential.

Furthermore, this role is a key support role and expected to support every member of the Home Delivery team on a daily basis (Manager, Coordinator, Warehouse Shipper/Receiver and Drivers).

Household Operations; assisting the Operations Manager with;

· Coordination of inbound and outbound move files

· Third party move coordination and fleet management

Qualifications

· Advanced skills, familiarization and competence working with Logistics cloud-based software systems

· Proficient skills & knowledge in Operations Delivery methodologies

· Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel

· Experience working in a Logistics operation setting (transport, warehousing, special projects delivery)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $34,632.00-$38,000.00 per year
