Maintenance Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, and Contracted Projects:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for life safety systems, such as boilers, furnaces, air conditioners, ventilation systems, exit lights, and fire panels.
• Oversee contracted projects to ensure timely and satisfactory completion.
• Address urgent and emergency maintenance requirements promptly.
• Organize and supervise contractor repairs.
• Manage inventory effectively.
• Be available for after-hours maintenance and snow removal as needed.

Grounds Maintenance, Inventory Management, and Safety & Security:

• Cultivate an aesthetically pleasing outdoor environment.
• Ensure outdoor furnishings are well-maintained.
• Manage snow and ice removal operations.
• Uphold a safe and secure living environment.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records.

Qualifications:

• A trades ticket (Alberta) with a strong working background.
• Knowledge of generally accepted building and maintenance practices.
• Exceptional communication skills (informing, listening, presenting, and writing).
• Ability to provide a clean Criminal Record check with a Vulnerable Sector search.
