The Role
This role requires the ability to make decisions based on established procedures and is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of GMS; focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse and challenging environment at General Motors Canada as the company transitions into new products that meet our goals of “Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, Zero Congestion”.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Manage all facets of Maximo including user support, software upgrades, report creation, software troubleshooting, workflow development.
Lead in data conversion and migration efforts .
Configure Maximo and assist in the development of interfaces to external systems.
Identify areas of customization and optimization and provide solutions that meet the business requirements.
Conduct system testing, as necessary.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance.
Working knowledge of Maximo, SAP interface, PTPM&C Interface
Demonstrated understanding of SeQent Team Call Software, SeQent First Page Software, Microsoft Power BI, Cognos / Cognos Analytics, SQL (Structured Query Language), EZ Max Mobile, Motorola Transmitter, Motorola Radios, Samsung Tablet interface.
