Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Position summary:

Provide support to operations for the coordination and effectiveness of all activities within the Preventative Maintenance Program.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and Maintain a CMMS
• Insure GMP's are respected and report immediately any issues or potential risks (Food safety or People safety)
• Document all activities as per our SQF program requirements.
• Organize and secure the library of equipment books and provide copies when required
• Keep the inventory of tools, spare parts and spare equipment clean, organized, secured and ready to perform
• Initiate and distribute PMs and Work Orders to the appropriate crew
• Monitor work orders progress and timely completion
• Review gaps with PMs and Work Orders and report to Management if not resolved
• Work closely with the Production Managers and Maintenance Crew assigned to each specific department
• Evaluate and coordinate the needs of outside contractors
• Manage timeline with outside contractors
• React efficiently to urgencies and troubleshooting requirements

Requirements:

• 3 year experience minimum
• Realized a CMMS implementation
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts for troubleshooting an maintenance
• Capacity to handle pressure
• Sense of urgency
• Team work
• Pride in keeping a clean and organized environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
