Job description

Responsibilities:

Operations Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule predictive and preventive maintenance activity based on demand, workload, and resources.
  • Effectively coordinate maintenance activity with operations to minimize impact on production.
  • Respond to daily demand maintenance (DM) requirements.
  • Review, update and close out CMMS based work orders.
  • Arrange follow-up to work orders and generate any required follow ups in the CMMS.
  • Ensure availability of materials, tools, and resources for planned maintenance activity
  • Collect, review, analyze and advise management on short- and long-term downtime trends through the use of CMMS or a manual system.
  • Assist in evaluation of maintenance parts, supplies and recommended inventory levels.
  • Adherence to and compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures
  • Stockroom inventory management including shipping and receiving.
  • Assist in development and liaison with OEM vendors, suppliers, and external services.
  • Participate in plant safety, health, environmental, and 5S programs.
  • Other duties as assigned for which he/she has received required training, possesses qualifications and/or is considered competent.

Job Specifications:

Educational and Experience Requirements for this position:

  • Mechanical or Electrical technician diploma or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years related work experience in planning and maintaining a variety of equipment in an automated, high-tech production facility.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMMS software, and accounting software.
  • Basic technical aptitude including but not limited to computers, math, assembly, and general manufacturing principles.
  • Experienced with a variety of equipment in an automated, high-tech production facility.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours/shifts.
  • Satisfactory criminal reference check in accordance with the company’s policy

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $64,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
