Mechanical Maintenance Panner
Dryden Fibre Canada is currently seeking an individual to become part of our maintenance team. A progressive community set between Winnipeg and Thunder Bay, Dryden offers excellent recreational, fishing, and outdoor activities.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, your role will be to plan and co-ordinate Mechanical Maintenance activities related to rotating and other equipment within the mill.
More specifically, you will have to:
- Ensure that job plans, equipment, material, and specs required are readily available and that the various trades are properly coordinated, as they relate to the work order systems.
- Help schedule work in consultation with the operating and area supervisors.
- Set up of new assets and files as they relate to mill mechanical equipment.
- Manage mechanical repair material inventory and asset bill of materials.
- Plan and schedule work orders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong mechanical background;
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
- Self-Motivated;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Detail oriented;
- Financial aptitude;
- Computer skills;
- A safety-oriented mindset with the desire to apply and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.
