Under the direction of the Director of Community Services, the Manager of Community Support is responsible for the overall management of the Ontario Works program, and programs aimed at addressing homelessness within our community. The position requires a deep understanding of social issues related to social assistance, homelessness, and marginalized populations.
Qualifications:
· University Degree or Post-Secondary Diploma in a social services, or related human services field or a combination of education and experience.
· Three (3) to four (4) years related experience with five (5) to six (6) years in a supervisory position considered an asset.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Good organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Financial acuity and ability to manage budgets and spending.
· Knowledge of local resources and support services for individuals experiencing homelessness.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55.91-$62.93 per hour
