Marketing Assistant

Guspro is looking for a creative and resourceful individual willing to support the Sales and Marketing Manager with their administrative tasks in marketing. They are expected to work on various marketing projects to grow sales initiatives, facilitate marketing campaigns, assist in the creation of new marketing materials for all product lines and help develop sales team resources such as training videos and still photography.

Marketing Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of new marketing materials for all product lines - both web and print

• Monitor our web presence across all applicable platforms, for all product lines

• Optimize company SEO

• Maintain company websites when/where needed

• Maintain social media accounts for all product lines

• Aid in outsourcing promotional products for respective product lines

• Collaborate with the sales manager to develop new ways of gaining exposure for our manufactured goods

• Liaise between Sales and Marketing Manager and third graphic designers/marketing groups where applicable

• Assist in tradeshow planning where needed, specifically as it pertains to booth layout and aesthetics

• Some travel will be required to attend trade shows and onsite customer visits for interviews etc.

• Help develop successful marketing campaigns and monitor active marketing programs

• Review analytics on our paid ad services, marketing campaigns etc.

Marketing Assistant Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum two years working experience in a related advertising or marketing program and/or a diploma/BA in communications/marketing

• Proficient in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere) apps a must

• Thorough understanding and use of Wix and/or Prestashop

• Intermediate photography and videography skills preferred

• Copywriting experience an asset

• Experience with Social Media platforms a must

• Ability to adhere to deadlines and multitask

• Meta Business Suite experience a must • Bilingual is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
