The Marketing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing team with their day-to-day activities, marketing campaigns, events, and other initiatives. The ideal candidate will have exemplary communication and organization skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Daily administrative tasks (PO’s and goods receipts, managing the marketing inbox, repetitive requests (merch, photos, assets, info), information chaser)
- Internal Emails and email list management (Marketing Newsletter, One-Offs)
- Assist with sponsorships, donation requests, industry awards submissions, ticket giveaways
- Google ads account management
- Google business account management + *new apple maps account management
- Manage & reply to online reviews and comments, engage with customers and other businesses on social media
- Monthly Reporting (Online reputation report, social media report, email campaign report, google ads, marketing budget, events budgets)
- Maintaining working documents (merchandise handouts, magazine ads, awards submissions)
- Market Research
- Writing and editing articles
- Assisting content marketing specialist when required
- Managing bookings (vendors, hotels)
- Giveaway item and donation packaging and coordinating
- Assist marketing team as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or college equivalent degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field’s
- Intermediate excel knowledge
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organization
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
- Experience with Wordpress is an asset
- Experience with Hootsuite is an asset
