What to Expect:
We are looking for a Marketing Associate to join our dynamic Nestlé Professional team at our North York office. Reporting to the Marketing Manager – Food, this role will contribute to the development and execution of marketing, channel, and customer initiatives. You will play a crucial role in supporting our growth ambitions and have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of Food Brands, including Stouffer’s, Minor, KitKat, and Smarties. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners, execute marketing activities aligned with brand strategies, and receive the necessary support to thrive in this role
A day in the life:
- Support team in annual planning process, analyzing brand, consumer, and market data to identify trends and opportunities for season end review, 3-year plan, and annual commercial plan.
- Provide fact-based analytical support to identify business opportunities, monitoring brand and category performance against KPIs.
- Assist in executing approved innovation and renovation plans within budgets and timelines, contributing to integrated commercial planning process.
- Manage Product Fixed Marketing Expenditure (PFME) budgets, tracking spending and conducting Pre-Post PFME evaluations.
- Conduct routine competitive analysis to keep the team informed and share learnings.
- Assist in general administration, event management, marketing presentations, and knowledge sharing during weekly team meetings.
Role Requirements
- University degree in Business, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Strong communication skills, able to disseminate and synthesize diverse and vast data while communicating simply to a non-analytic audience
Preferred Skills
- 1-2 experience in analytical marketing/sales positions considered an asset
- Strong analytical skills with high detail orientation and a bias for action
- Works well independently as well as across various levels and functions to succeed in a highly collaborative, matrix organization
- An energetic self-starter, agile, curious and able to pivot in a fast paced ever changing environment.
- Passion for growth with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a curiosity to learn and challenge the status quo
- Bilingual French /English considered an asset
